X SAT FZE is a United Arab Emirates based company registered in Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai  since August 2002. X SAT maintains offices in Dubai (U.A.E.), Georgia (U.S.A.), and New Delhi (INDIA) where it manages sales in the Middle East, Africa, Europe, CIS and America.

 

X SAT’s mission is to provide affordable telecommunication services in remote areas. Main activities include provisioning of Mobile Satellite Services (Thuraya / Inmarsat / Iridium), GSM products and services for enterprises (du.xsatco.com), telecommunication services based on Voice over Internet Protocol (via www.x2dial.com) and fixed satellite services VSAT.

 

As an official Service Partner for Thuraya Telecommunications Company since December 2002 , XSAT provides telecommunications solutions to Companies, Government Agencies, International Organizations and Individuals located and/or operating in remote areas. Thuraya offers integrated solutions for every specific case, including voice, fax, data, short messaging and GPS in all Thuraya phones as standard features. Thuraya also offers a high-speed satellite data modem, ThurayaIP allowing a broadband data communication with a speed up to 444 kbps.  In addition, based on Thuraya technology, the following services can be made available: monitoring of pipelines, fleet management, remote surveillance, aeronautical and maritime telecommunications.

 

In April 2006 X SAT rolled out Inmarsat’s Broadband Global Area Network (BGAN) products and services. BGAN targets mobile users who need reliable broadband access (up to 492 kbps) when working in locations where the telecoms networks are poor or non-existent. The key benefits include global coverage, simultaneous voice and broadband data, highly portable and totally flexible solutions. Since 2010, X SAT offers Inmarsat IsatPhone Pro, a reliable and cost-effective satellite phone for voice communication.

 

XSAT was appointed Iridium’s Service Provider in August 2009. The Iridium System is a satellite-based, wireless personal communications network providing a robust suite of voice and data services to virtually any destination anywhere on earth. The Iridium Satellite System enables remote communication solutions for vertical markets that include: Maritime, Construction, Aviation, Oil & Gas, Mining, Government, Leisure Travel, and Disaster Relief Organizations.

 

In January 2009, X SAT was appointed as one of few du’s certified Channel Partners for corporate clients. Under this agreement, X Sat has a right to promote du’s Premier Plan (postpaid), Pay as You Go Plus (prepaid), Call Select (fixed lines), Blackberry and iPhone. Du is a second mobile and fixed telecom operator in United Arab Emirates.

 

In October 2011, X SAT had signed a partnership agreement with SkyBitz, the leader in remote asset tracking and information management solutions. SkyBitz provides remote asset management solutions based on advanced technology that are ideal for commercial and government organizations with requirements to track and manage assets and cargo with continuous visibility and high security. SkyBitz’s Global Locating System (GLS) technology can track, monitor and manage assets such as transportation assets, shipping containers and cargo, and military equipment and assets.
